Pegasus Golf & Sports Club opened on the 5th of December 2009 with two invitational tournaments. Players included Sir Bob Charles, leading NZ amateurs Emily Perry and Zoe Brake, and Australian professional golfers Rachel Hetherington and Sarah Kemp. The course is now open for public play. The course is playing very well and we are receiving a large number of favourable comments from visitors to the course. The pro shop has been completed along with the gym, changing rooms and the Bunker Cafe & Bar which is open daily for breakfast and lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturdays. The driving range is now open to the public daily. 86 Mapleham lots in stages 1 to 5 now have titles issued, and fences and tree planting have been completed on these lots.The first house on the golf course is now under construction. Craig Mitchell has been appointed as the resident golf professional and Paula Campbell has been appointed as the new Membership Manager.
